Conservation Award

Each year the SRRCD sponsors a family within the District whom has demonstrated a genuine concern for the long-term management and sustainability of the resources at their farm. The family is recognized as the SRRCD Conservation Family and is rewarded with an invitation to the annual Manitoba Conservation Districts Association convention in Brandon, and presented with a recognition farm-gate sign they can display at the entrance to their farm site.
